Flickerfest 08 for Sweet Hit 

The collaboration between DP, Marty Smith and debutante director Damien Walshe-Howling has been accepted into the auspicious Flickerfest Film Festival for 2008.

The film, which is based around actual events, was completed early in 2007 and since then producer Ayisha Davies has been working hard to ensure the film continues to screen.  With the films acceptance into the festival, "The Bloody Sweet Hit" becomes one of all included films to be eligible for an Academy Award nomination as the festival is the only one in Australia that carries Oscar ratification.

Congratulations to Damien and Ayisha for their continued drive with the film, and to Damien in particular with the success for having helmed a picture for the first time.
